2011 William Jones Cup Update: Smart-Gilas falls short against Korea
by: Michael Anthony R. Jandayan | PinoyBBaller
JV Casio's second half heroics weren't enough to propel Smart-Gilas Pilipinas past their age-old arch nemesis Korea NT; losing 78-70 in the elimination round of the 2011 William Jones Cup in Taipei.

2011 William Jones Cup Update: Smart-Gilas deals Iran a shocker at opener
by: Michael Anthony R. Jandayan | PinoyBBaller
In what would easily rank as perhaps the most legitimate test in gauging their capacity to achieve their ultimate goal of putting the Philippine flag back in Olympic basketball, the Smart-Gilas Pilipinas national basketball team dealt two-time defending Asian champions Iran a huge and unexpected blow in the opening salvo of the 2011 William Jones Cup tournament in Taipei; surprising the heavily favored counterpart with a convincing 73-59 victory.

The True Test
by: Michael Anthony R. Jandayan | PinoyBballer
I know I've been out for a thousand years! I have long been finding that perfect mixture of time, mood, and dedication to make my comeback post, but I always end up adding tons of drafts and backlogs in my blog account.

Scrimmages end for Smart-Gilas National Team
by: Michael Anthony R. Jandayan | PinoyBBaller
This blog has been dormant for quite some time and that is because I've immersed myself into this newly found "wealth resource". But that doesn't mean I've locked myself away from all the basketball action or shall I say scrimmages that our Smart-Gilas boys are engaging right now in the 2011 Fiba Asia Champions Cup at the PhilSports Arena.

PBA Commisioner's Cup Finals Game 5 Precursor : Can Barangay Ginebra Repeat History?
by: Michael Anthony R. Jandayan | Pinoy BBaller
If you're a Ginebra fan and you happened to catch how the Gin Kings performed excellently, intensity-wise, in the first three quarters of their Game 4 championship duel against the powerhouse Talk N Text Tropang Texters, then you were probably pretty much hyped up at the juncture the Kings led by as much as 17 midway in the third and when they were seemingly mixing the right ingredients enroute to tying the series. Probably, you were going "yeah! that's my team".

PBA Finals: Harris' onslaught carries Talk N Text to 3-1 lead over Ginebra Kings
by: Michael Anthony R. Jandayan | Pinoy BBaller
It is hard to trail early in the game against a powerhouse team like the Talk N Text Tropang Texters. But after Game 4 of the 2011 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals, it turned out it is even much harder to keep a lead against them.

PBA Finals: Quick thoughts before Game 4
by: Michael Anthony R. Jandayan | PinoyBBaller

It's really hard to find something to criticize for such a strong team like the Talk N Text Tropang Texters. They've shown in their ongoing PBA Commissioner's Cup championship series against the Barangay Ginebra Kings how dominant they can be. They are now currently leading their series, 2-1 after another masterful performance in Game 3 which was held at Puerto Princesa, Palawan last Sunday.
But if I were to betray my Ginebra team and hint the Tropang Texters of something they should do to secure this series from slipping out and into our hands, this would probably what I'll tell them.
